Lincoln unveils 2025 Aviator, with deliveries starting in summer
On February 6, Lincoln unveiled the 2025 Lincoln Aviator. Deliveries of the new car are expected to begin this summer.
The new Aviator is equipped with a larger mesh grille and new headlight set. Slender LED daytime running light strips extend to the grille in a boomerang shape for a unique visual effect. The daytime running lights also have welcome effects. The new car also adds new exterior colors, including natural well green and whispering metallic blue. It also comes with newly designed 20-inch mechanical aluminum alloy wheels, and optional 22-inch ebony black rims. The high-end Black Label version features a two-tone body, including a black roof, and 22-inch ebony black wheels. The grille, fenders, door badges, and window surround are all painted in black for an added sense of premium.
The cockpit of the new Aviator has received a series of technology upgrades, including the new Lincoln Digital Experience infotainment system, which allows passengers to watch videos while parked and even play video games with Bluetooth-connected controllers. The vehicle system also allows users to download apps such as Spotify and Waze directly from the Google Play Store. The vehicle has also been replaced with a new 12.4-inch digital dashboard and 13.2-inch central touchscreen, which still supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functions. Voice control via Google Assistant or Alexa to meet user requests, including using voice to control Google Maps and Music navigation, adjusting air conditioning settings, adding reminders to journals and sending texts, and more. Other interior enhancements include the addition of a wireless charging pad to the center console and the addition of four new interior color schemes: Agate, Space Grey, Bronze and Onyx Agate Mix, Chocolate and Onyx Agate Mix. In addition, the Black Label features a unique interior, including black leather upholstery and brandy stitching, as well as special wood trim to highlight its sense of high class.
Lincoln has added more standard features to the new Aviator, including automatic air freshening capabilities, a panoramic roof, steering wheel heating, first row seat heating and ventilation, wireless phone charging, adaptive suspension, and a Class III trailer hanger capable of towing up to 5,000 pounds. The new car also comes with the Lincoln Co-Pilot 360 2.1 Driver Assistance Package, which includes avoidance steering assist, lane keeping, blind spot monitoring, 360-degree cameras, front and rear parking sensors, and automatic emergency braking in the rear.
The new Aviator comes standard with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with a maximum power of 400 horsepower and a peak torque of 563 Nm. The drivetrain is matched with a 10-speed manual transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and four-wheel drive is optional. (Source: Lincoln Motors)
